lol, sorry JpJ.

Isn't W the last one on the selection - I thought it was speedy (maybe I'm remembering wrong?)

So basically the easiest way to points boost is survive with as many lives as possible (on original anyway?)

I know about the level 3 life - easy to get. I always use two bombs for it now, but I did used to be able to get through that bit without on the PS2 - can't do it anymore. :(

EDIT: Am remembering wrong - It WAS S-power I've been using.

On original the extra life bonus at the end totally eclipses any points you can score during the game. On the insanity DVD Clover-YMN scores 18,545,755 during play and 50,000,000 in extra life bonuses. So, there's no sense wasting lives trying to milk the stage 2 plants or bosses.

Oh right - I was trying to milk those plants like mad. I'm getting better at it, but normally give up a life in the process.

Right, no more pissing about then. :D

Congrats, Skykid. I'm still trying to 1-ALL a Psikyo game. If I can't do it with Sengoku Ace, it's probably not going to happen.

I'm trying to 1-life ALL Ibara Harder Mode.
I'm doing quite well.

Congratulations, Skykid!

I don't see a CAVE 1cc coming anytime soon for me; while I've been able to reach DDP's 1-6 boss on 1 credit, I've been working more on scoring recently.

Congrats!

Certainly a good game to count for as a first 1cc, in my view. Mushi is my favorite of all the Cave titles, easy.

Arrange was my first, and then Original and Maniac.

I still havent 1cc'ed anything that is Cave and ISNT Mushi, heh......

.......and isnt that 5th midboss just a total snotwad? Good grief, I hated that thing. Didnt think the actual BOSS was as annoying as that.

To 1CC DoDonPachi, do you need to unlock the 2nd loop, or is it considered a 1CC if I finish the 1st loop and not unlock the 2nd loop?

Beating the first loop counts as a 1CC, but beating both loops would be a 2-ALL.

Hey Bridget, I do think he's a bit of a bastard yeah - I had to bomb him off if i remember correctly. I watched a superplay the other day where the guy just point blanks and chucks three bombs on him and that's it :D

Thanks for the tip LGB, if I can get the PCB one day I'll try DDP, I do love that game!

I was going for Espgaluda 1CC (it being the "easiset" cave 1cc) but I gave up a while ago. Got to 5-2 once. I can get all the extends and what not but man... I'll have to give it another go someday.

I want to know what it means to be strong...

Is EspGaluda easier than DonPachi?

Cool.

I'm currently evolving my gameplay in DoDonPachi, since I have already completed the 1st loop of DonPachi. But now I'm thinking of shifting my efforts to Espgaluda! :)

I think I'd have to say Dodonpachi is the easiest Cave 1CC. Galuda is easy up to the final boss, but that final boss alone probably took me 20 tries to finally take down. Dodon on the other hand just gives out so many bombs that you can take down the first loop pretty easily with a bit of practice. Dodon was my first at least and I still go back and clear it every now and again just for kicks.

CONGRATULATIONS! A WINNER IS YOU!

Mushi's a beast on any difficulty. Nice job.

Mushi was my first Cave 1cc too, it took me a while, certainly, but I eventually beat it in Maniac mode, scoring to boot. I do want to tackle Original and Arrange someday, but right now, I'm just not practiced enough to do 'em. BOOOOMB~

Oh yeah, congrats.

weird.
Isn't Arrange way easier than Maniac, being autobomb-enabled and all?
I mean sure there's the TLB, but then again you'll likely get there with more lifes left then on maniac.

The US version of Donpachi is very easy, considering all the bombs you have. Once you learn the enemy patterns of stage 4 and 5, the 1st loop is yours.

I still can't beat ESPGaluda yet. Stage 4 and onwards is hell.

Not for me at least. I'm able to do Maniac, but that TLB always gets me in Arrange. I've gotten there with three lives in stock and failed to take him down.
