This was a damn good movie.

I downloaded it off netflix onto my 360 for free, i suggest you all do the same. This has gotta be one of the best things that came out of canada in a while

I live in/near Ottawa where the filmmaker lives. He's kind of a cheesy dude (think of Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons) but he and some friends recently bought an old moviehouse in town and are showing some indie and classic stuff, doing midnight shows, etc. He's also got a new documentary out about a wrestler, but the name escapes me.

Director's name is Lee Demarbe.

I'm all for movies that go past bad and into the realm of awesomely bad (like Bubba Hotep and Evil Ed), but this one goes past bad, past awesomely bad, and into the realm of unwatchable. Like Ninja Destroyer. In fact... I at least finished Ninja Destroyer. I think we made my friend turn off this one.

yeah i tried watching it on my xbox, i think i faked interest for 10 or 20 minutes. couldn't keep it up though, no way. what a pile of shit.

I've yet to actually finish that movie, I did listen to the soundtrack at work a fair bit though.

Oh, and for rotten movies, check out cinemageddon, they've got just about everything.

You might want to check out God of Vampires...it's an interesting mixture of cool stylized gun fights (ala The Matrix), ku fung action with Chinese zombies and a Vampire whose God/Lord of them all. Took seven years to be finally completed from principal shooting beginning in 2000 to final edited cut in 2007. The director of GoVs film said that he shot the entire film in HD format and that it looks even better than what was shown on DVD format at the 2007 indy Shockerfest expo. ^_~

It still hasn't been officially released on DVD or Blu-Ray format yet but can be see at indy horror film festivals and the like.

I really wanted to like this, but one thing totally made the movie horrible horrible crap. It sucks that it happened in the first 10 minutes (minor spoiler):

Jesus gets his hair cut, some earrings, and new clothes right at the beginning of the movie. I wanted to watch JESUS CHRIST killing vampires not RANDOM DUDE killing vampires. If he would have looked like Jesus then I probably would have liked it a lot more.

From the title alone, I desperately want to see this movie. I don't care if it's horrible, because it's a lot of fun to watch a bad movie with friends.

What parts of "I'm all for" and "awesomely" made it sound like I was speaking ill of it? I love Bubba Hotep! And Bruce Campbell movies in general.
