Hopefully the person responsible for that title was shit-canned before it came out.The original/pre-release title in the UK was Cyber Punks.

And if anyone gives a shit, they will be performing "Hyper Sonic Akira Live" on 05.23 somewhere in Nakano-ku. It's a bike ride away, so will probably go to it. I really dig these guys. They're doing Akira first, then God knows what second.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:Here is the English site of what is recommended to listen to the newly touted Hypersonic audio version of Blu-Ray Akira:

i have a TrueHD set up and my BR arrived from the US a few days back. It's great, however to truly listen to the Japanese language: Dolby TrueHD - 5.1 channels, 192kHz at 24 bit encoding rate setup, you'd need one of the latest stereo recievers with support for Dolby TrueHD + a decent speaker setup to handle the higher frequencies...not a cheap setup to go with btw (but if you have such a setup, you're in for an audio treat). ^_~
It's awesome to put it mildly.
The picture looks as good as it'll ever look i think, it starts out a bit shakey due to the credit movement, but after that it looks great.
