I can clear Dangun in a week
I can clear Dangun in a week
the first loop
I'll bet someone $5 via paypal. First come first serve. Loser must also publicly admit that I am a bad mother fucker.
Have not played the game in months, maybe years, dunno that much about it, only starting today

no cheats, no nothing...I will record an INP
can someone tell me how to enable autofire in mame32, my thumb is killing me
Jesus H. Christ this game is difficult. If this is longer than 5 stages I'm going to rape someone with barbed wire
The old 'Never played this game before, let's bet and see if I can clear it in a week' hustle.
Hey gaiz I never played'd this Contorah? before, give me $9,000 and a week to clear it ;D
Also I hope you will be recording a MAME .inp for us all. And don't go scouring the internet looking for a Dangun clear where the guy enters 'NEO' or something like that at the end.

Re: I can clear Dangun in a week
DF has only 1 loop Neon (5 stages), and it's brutally hard. IIRC it took mulletgeezer a month to go from a good stage 5 score to getting the ALL.Neon wrote:the first loop
Recording inputs on DF is also a minor form of torture due to the long start up time, and if you enable the Full-auto it doubles the time it takes.
EDIT: Also, if you use an older version of wolfmame like 0.99 or something close, you'll get savestates which work perfectly.

Could have done without knowing the first part but thanks for the wolfmame tipfreddiebamboo wrote:DF has only 1 loop Neon (5 stages), and it's brutally hard. IIRC it took mulletgeezer a month to go from a good stage 5 score to getting the ALL.Neon wrote:the first loop

I'd also strongly advise you try and score at least averagely well in the first 3 stages, the extra life is triggered by reaching a certain amount of dancing men (can't remember the exact amount, 2200 maybe?).Neon wrote:I have to ignore the men for the sake of survival, unless i can find an über route
If you don't push for score too much you should get it somewhere early in stage 4.
Because of the difficulty of the stage 4 boss and pretty much the whole of stage 5, the extra life is pretty much essential for the extra bombs it gives you.

It shouldn't be too hard to beat any shmup in a week, if you have a ton of spare time, and if the game isn't crazy hard.
I haven't beat Feveron though, every time I played the normal mode.. I got tired of it and went to something else instead, so congrats if you are still playing this game in a week

To see two grown men duke it out on a real Dangun PCB with supergun or candy cab setup for a measly fiver and bragging rights...that I'd like to see. Why not ante up to twenty bucks instead and not just settle for chmup pocket change? Yeah, a proper Sanwa or Seimitsu joystick is better than a lousy PC gamepad. Whatever works easiest for you in the end. ^_~jpj wrote:Neon wrote:the first loop![]()

PC Engine Fan X! ^_~
Saturn pad, stick might be better but I have no room for my gaming stuff in this apartment. I miss my consoles and sticks but it's gonna be a PC and a pad until I have a more permanent and spacious living situationDave_K. wrote:No need, C Auto. C auto? The third button isn't autofire for me if that's what you were referring to. I'm using MameUI32 instead of command line which might explain it
That is my theory, especially using savestates to practice and lifting strategies from replays rather than taking the time to work them out myself. Unfortunately I may not have a lot of spare time this week as I have been neglecting my schoolwork already. Oh well, it adds to the challenge...guess I'm not sleeping or going out Friday nightIt shouldn't be too hard to beat any shmup in a week, if you have a ton of spare time, and if the game isn't crazy hard.
ill take you up on that bet, havent got a clue how good/bad you are but clearing a game from scratch in a week is no easy thing.
dangun sucks badly aswell so its gonna be hard for ya.
