I had a Queensland Heeler type of dog once and if I talked to him in Spanish, he'd start growling but if I spoke in American English, he'd settle down and be his usual friendly self. The dog didn't like folks speaking in Spanish...I wonder why that was. Interesting topic starter indeed. ^_~

I recall leafing through a slang swearing dictionary one time that had a bunch of curse words listed in English and the foreign slang word in different languages to the right of it. It was an interesting read. It even had curse words in Russian as well. ^_~

A Canuck who wants to learn some new swear words in other natives' tongues? There is the slang words of feck and fecking...you probably might be familiar with it already.

If you ever come across some haitians, "ma si si"if it's a guy and "ma di veen" if it's a woman. Both mean gay to their respective genders (fag lesbian). "go boonda" can be added after both which means big ass. Pronunciation si=see, di=dee, the rest is said how it's spelled.

Good luck starting fights with people jonny5

We americans speak "American" not this "English" thing you speak of. How aboot you explain that a bit more vividly in "American" next time

Luck does matter sometimes in fights. You never know when someone is gunna have pocket sand to throw in your eyes

Sorry

"Ä" Is pronounced like the word "fair" without the "F" and the "R"
"Å" Is pronounced like "oh"
"Ö" Is pronounced like the "Ur" part in Steve Urkel

"Dra oht helvete din jfailva kuksugande burg-hora"

Man that looks funky written like that, but it is as close I can get.

not english.....it's not even american. I don't know what it is. all i know is that it's normally associated with a lynching, or intercourse/sodomizing of one's own family member. We americans do not believe in such things, or have left them in the past (lynching).

do you canadians have people in your country such as these mentioned above?

best way to explain it is the major cities in canada are a lot like any major city in the US....outside of the major cities its a bit different.....i dunno.....

very similar culture to americans for the most part i guess

canadian culture is kinda hard to put a finger on because we are such a multicultural country....

the main difference is we are much more informed on your culture because it dominates the airwaves, and we learn a lot about you guys in school......

its often quite funny the misconceptions americans have about canada

on with the cussing

Here's some Spanish one's. Pretty useful and used a lot:

Pendejo (fool)
Cabrón (something along the lines of "fucker")
Hijo de puta/ hijo de perra (son of a... you get the idea)
Mierda (shit)
Mama huevo (cocksucker)
Maldita sea (damn it)
Coño (something close to "damn it")
Tu maldita madre ("your damn mother")
"Sooo, what was it that you consider a 'good salary' for a man to make?"
"They should at least make 100K to have a good life"
...

I like to keep my swearing short and harsch with a lil' variaty of "whore" at the end.

Fitt-hora! (cunt-whore) Pronounced as fit (like in fitness) with a who (like in who) + raah [ fit whoraah ]

Or:

Röv-hora! (ass-whore) this of course applies to both male and female "recievers". :D Pronounced like "love" but with an r instead. Try saying love-who + raah a few times, then change to the r [ rove whoraah ]

I use these pretty damn much while playing Ketsui. :D

He's right, when I went up into Canada to visit the Canadian Rockies and whatnot, I was amazed at how few people had any kind of accent at all. There were definitely a few french canadians that sounded a bit different, but on the whole, aside from the occasional "sohrry," I wouldn't have been able to tell them apart from anyone else if they'd come down to visit the states and I ran into them on the street.

It's a pun towards the most popular car from BMW, which name is the same word as a threesome. Well those get produced in large numbers, and you get the idea... ;)

Chinese dialect's curses are mainly related to body parts:

1. Chao Chi Bai (hokkien) - smelly pussy

2. Nya mah hai (hakka) - your mom's pussy

3. Gong mart (without the "r" sound) lan (cantonese) - what dick are you talking

4. Ham ka chan (hakka and cantonese sounds the same) - all family dead
