Broke my medalchain early in stage 6 and didn't try to build it up again. Then I killed BHMKII too quickly and did several other mistakes. Still I got a slightly higher score.

This was an especially bad run:

Stage 1: 500,000
Stage 2: 3,500,000 (2,200,000 after birds)
Stage 3: 5,000,000
Stage 4: 6,600,000 (couldn't destroy the boss)
Stage 5: A,100,000
Stage 6: B,300,000
Stage 7: E,612,260 (C,500,000 before BHMKII)

At least this was the first time I was able to hold my medalchain throughout the whole game, the rest sucked in every aspect.

And taking breaks can only improve your score. I can't play more than 5-10 credits a day, often less than that.

Just died with E,65x,xxx on Glow Squids first form, immidiately turned off the saturn and started to scream.

On the bright side I've got a 613k score on stage 1 with Gain! That's the highest I've seen so far.

My original goal was to beat my old A,3 score. Then I tried to beat Rando and now I've reached my last goal of getting an F score. I'm definitely done for now, uni starts again in a few weeks anyway.

@all: Thanks for all the congratulations and the support, guys. I don't think I've deserved them, after all my score is still crap for a Gain score. Now stop spamming the topic everybody and post some Garegga scores!

Don't be so modest, that's an amazing score, but I will listen to you and not just spam and actually submit a score (got this just last night). Died on Black Heart mk2, pretty pissed I missed out on next extend. I had no clue what I was doing on stage 7 but that's because I never made it there before and honestly didn't expect to.

You're close to clearing the game, don't give up yet! Isn't Black Heart Mk II one of the most awesome bosses ever? I simply can't get enough of him, he's one of the main reasons why this game is so brilliant, imo.

Keep going, your score is already quite good. That score increase from B,6 to C,4 on one day was amazing! I'm sure you can get at least D with a bit or practice.

Yeah I'm working on beating that score, but my pace has slowed a hundred fold, because I'm trying to record it. Which means I have to sit through the rom-check every time, and that drives me insane so I can only do 1 or 2 runs per day.

On the day I got that C score, I was just using save states to the player select screen every time I screwed something up ;-P
