how do you clear save data off of GBA carts?

I just tried on my spare copy of the game and it worked. You're obviously doing it wrong.

also: Google. "Advance Wars" clear data. First result.

i started this thread in reference to a need for speed most wanted cart...what lordstar suggested did NOT work for this.....

this thread has de-railed completely

Did you ever say which cart you were trying to wipe? It might make the search easier?
