Looks like I will have to buy a 360 now. The world is in dire need of ground-based shmups.

Maybe they will throw in some more 'hardcore' modes too?

This would have been a good candidate for a Wii port.

EDIT: This would have been a good candidate for a Wii port considering G.REV wouldn't have to upgrade anything much from the Naomi version.

Well, G.Rev and their allies have to do something in order to overthrow Cave's mind share in this genre. ;)

Whenever I watched people play this they would run through the entire stage as fast as possible, then sit in one spot milking respawning enemies for several minutes until the timer was nearly out... Not for me, I guess.

They don't have to do much for the 360 version either, since they've done it before.

INH will be responsible for the superplay DVD. The title is THE PERFECT TERROR.
I really like how INH names their DVD's, engrish at it's finest.

Preorders are available. Since this is actually a worthwhile LE, I'm going to go ahead and preorder it now.

Preordered the regular edition for 360. Looks like a fun little random shmup. Plus, I love shmups where you walk on the ground with a little guy. We don't get enough of those. Only the Genesis/MD really had much of a collection of them.

The Truth.

A question to those who have played the arcade original: Do you get a good feeling of walking on the ground or is it more like you are floating just above it?

Up to this point the LE has not been priced, or actually available to preorder.

Reminded me of a modern Pocky and Rocky, although with less exploration and more focus on constant shooting.

So is this what we call a shota shooter? After seeing the attract video and promo images I realize this would hard to explain to the general western public. It's trying to ooze sex appeal with those girls, but at the same time the pink one seems a bit young to be in that outfit.
