The search for a decent stick
Okay, I'm just going to say right now that I am absolutely 100% clueless when it comes to hardware, so go easy on me, here. =X
I'm looking for a nice stick that can work on the PC (for MAME), but it would also be nice if it could work on a PS2 (for Mushihimesama and ESPGaluda) as well. Is this possible, and if so, how much would one cost? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm totally lost here.

the mayflash is another possibility. pc/ps2/ps3 compatibility right out of the box. but the stock parts are pretty crap, so you'd either have to mod it or have another forum member do it for you

get a PS2 HRAP and then just get the super joy box for USB PC compatibility and get a total control plus to use it with a DC
its your best option unless you want to mod stuff....this gets you a great stick out of the box and then you just need the adapters to use it with everything you want pretty much

Seimitsu are more firm when depressing the plunger, and are generally preferred for shmups. Sanwa buttons tend to have a looser spring, so they depress more easily. They are usually preferred in fighters, so you can do very quick combos, but not so much for shmups becuase you can accidentally drop bombs when resting your finger on the button.
