Got my first PCB, and how much are these others worth?

Post by iatneH »

I hopped into a local pinball & cabinet restoration shop today to browse around, and I asked the owner if he had any PCBs. He had plenty of boxes of them, nothing super new though. I picked up an Outzone board but there were a few others that caught my eye.

Can anybody give me a ballpark of what these boards are worth?

Gunforce
Slap Fight (I think he had several of these, some might be bootlegs/clones though)
Rastan Saga
Aero Fighters

I don't know how much those are, just wanted to say nice find on the Outzone PCB. malc's review for the game put it on my future to-buy list. 2P Toaplan co-op assist shooting action. *drool*

Also a bit OT, but I would LOVE to own the Simpsons arcade cab. There's one in town here but I'd have to replace the screen and fix the buttons for Bart.

Thanks, I only had money for one PCB, and I was thinking either Outzone or Aero Fighters, but I know I've seen AF on eBay (in fact, just lost a bid today or yesterday) and I've never seen Outzone (or other Toaplan boards) on eBay. I've started to take a liking to Toaplan games too.

The owner had this really cute (beat-up, but still cute) supergun-in-a-toolbox that he used to test it for me. There was a 4" monitor on the side of the thing and speakers somewhere inside, and he just opens the top to take out the power plug, joystick, and JAMMA harness, and it had a dial inside for monitor adjustment too! It might be something I ought to look into :)

I can just say that Slapfight went for €16 last time I saw it on ebay (about 2 months ago). The other games I can only estimate, Aero Fighters maybe $50, Gunforce about $100, Rastan Saga... don´t know.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll go back there in a month or something for Gunforce and Aerofighters... Not too interested in the others anymore.

I'll probably try to find where one of the local arcade distributors is and go have a look too. I have the address but it's freaking far away.

Gunforce is pretty good actually IMHO, but $100 is too much these days.
