The show is 80 minutes long with about 4 minutes spent on each game. I had some trouble with the audio levels present in the original captured video and the audio commentary (PI2 came out the worst). These are things for me to keep in mind should I decide to undertake another project like this (I keep thinking about doing one for the DC... but they need to stop releasing games first).
I plan to post this on other forums once it has been mirrored on Archive.org.
At any rate, please enjoy my droning for 70+ minutes.
Thanks Kiken, it's awesome that you took all the time to make this! I've been looking forward to this for a while! Amazing that you bought all these games too O__________O
I'm d/l this now. I'm expecting something impressive and at the same time, educative. BTW, I just discovered that kiken means "danger" in Japanese. I'm taking classes. hohohohoho.
(Previously, I thought kiken had something to do with cats. Now, I guess it's just a silly pun. Good one.)
"Sooo, what was it that you consider a 'good salary' for a man to make?"
"They should at least make 100K to have a good life"
...
I skipped through it since I gotta go to bed, but what I saw was top quality. It's eons better than the Saturn Shooting Special: better commentaries, better playing, and more footage. One question, were you talking while playing or was it recorded afterwards?

The commentary was recorded later. I was watching the build file in Premier on my comp and recording my voice onto Minzoku's PC. Initially I had wanted to write a script... but I decided to keep things a little spontaneous (that and I was lazy!).
Just finished watching the video, cool stuff . I pretty much agree with all your ratings, I just hope that Pulstar and Blazing Star gets a port for a current system. Pulstar is a great game, but it sometimes feels a bit too much like R-Type. Blazing Star has more of a original feel to the gameplay, and some pretty brilliant ideas for the stages .
VCD compilant mpegs would be nice, so that they could be viewable on DVD Player . Atleast for me download size is not a issue, go ahead and post a DVD review next time
(me ol timer remembers the good ol times, with asf and vivo, like watching a blurred slideshow)
Excellent excellent video !, nice work:) I didnt realise there were so many shooters on the neo tbh. Very informative commentary and funny too:) I really enjoyed it.
Kiken, the video is REALLY awesome, although I do admit some parts of your narration was quite.. "inaudible", but at least I was still able to make out most of what you said.
