just some bug, who cares, this game is known to have had a bugged version and flawed scoring and perhaps also bugged bullet trajectories...

The picture probably isn't photoshopped. There is a well known bug in the first version of ESPRADE that causes the scores to get really high. In some of the older gamest issues, the esprade high scores used this bug.
There is a way to trigger the bug, many Japanese players know how to do it, but no one in the west seems to know exactly what to do. For a while I was offering a cash bounty for a replay of the bug happening, but no one ever made one.

Well, regarding non-loopable Cave games (and excluding Death Smiles), I think ESPRade is the easiest. Mushi original and ESPGaluda kick my ass badly.

I guess that says stage 5 but I was fighting the last boss when I died...? Does it not say Stage 6 unless you get the clear?

Technically it's 5-2, but around here we tend to call it stage 6. It says ALL if you get the clear.
