Does anyone know the weight of this stick?
I was using the street fighter TE stick and I have to say the weight was perfect. Usually its shit to have it on your knee but the weight stops it from moving around .

If it's identical to the HRAP-EX, then it is lighter. Not much lighter, but it is. It seems to sound more hollow than the ps2/3 HRAP, but that could be just me. That's a pretty easy stick to mod too, if you were to ever want to.

The chances of it being exactly like the HRAP EX (fake JLF, Hori buttons) are high, since it looks identical to it. For the 360, I'll just order one of the SFIV pads. I've always found the HRAP's casing to be too big and forces me to lift my arms above my table just to use it. I'm not big on sticks personally, but I want one just in case I feel like switching from my Saturn pad.

I have this coming. I'm really looking forward to it as I've never owned a custom stick before.
Customs are the way to go if you can afford it. In my opinion, no one makes cooler custom sticks than Byrdo www.Byrdo.org He's always sold out as soon as he gets them made it seems. His wireless ps3 stick was the shit.

It's funny you mention that because that Death Smiles stick is just a modded agetec. You would never think of it by looking at it (and plus, it has side buttons, so you know it's not going to take shit from no one). The HRAP EX SE is $230 which is $80 above what I paid for that Death Smiles stick. And with this, having a PS2 port, I can use it on either my Supergun or PS2 (and PS1), as well as my PC with an adapter. The HRAP EX SE is nice, I'd like it, and I'd probably use it for both my PC and 360, but I can't justify a purchase right now. Especially since there isn't a great deal of stuff on my 360 which I would use it with. Yes, I have all the shmups for it but they're not something I want to play with a stick.

Sticks have always interested me but I've never had one that I've been totally satisfied with. HRAPs are too big in height and I get arm fatigue, for example. The SFIV TE stick is impossible to find right now. The HRAP EX requires modding since it has Hori parts. The SFIV SE is white; which will attract dirt and dust, and I don't like the faceplate, and it needs a complete mod. So really, there's no "one size fits all".

Maybe if the HRAP EX is successful in the states, they'll release the HRAP EX SE there as well.

Not going to be fun :(

ProTip: Cut off the damn C shaped pcb for the outer 4 buttons, it's just a trace board and it saves you the hassle of desoldering more then the 2 on the mainboard. Also getting a JLF to fit requires dremeling everything off where the old stick was, and dremeling a small hole in the under plate, and making some sorta screw/nut mount through the top plate, it works awesome when you finish but it's major pain in the ass. I'm getting my SFIV stick today and it's getting modding as soon as I know it's not electronically defective out of the box, madcatz despite controversy gets my vote simply due to being awesome enough to make real 30mm button holes and a JLF and LS32 mounting bracket stock, also QD's...ftw.
