The theme is to show games as if they were classy novels with abstract covers. Some shmuppy goodness. The thread is safe for work, but the site probably isn't. The Gradius one and R-Type are my favorites. I've saved a couple of images if I ever need to make a custom game case.

I'm laughing so hard at the Audiosurf one, edited from a Star Trek DVD release. Which one is that, VI? I think I see Chang in there, plus Praxis.

SA Photoshopping has gone to shit, so it was nice to see a good one for a change.

Sad thing is, most of those are much better than regular covers or movie posters. To hell with that awful "hollywood floating heads" style!

Yep, and Sakura and Tomoyo are 10 at the start of the series, and 12 at the end. :p

The AK in Miracle World one is amazingly classy. Lovely game, probably the only AK I can stand at all though.

Edit: Oh god, the grammar breaking down both in the commentary and in the images made the Shenmue cover that much more worth it.

The best has to be the Duke 3D one. I am suddenly inspired to make it my spray image, hop online into a Day of Defeat: Source realism server during setup, shoot some brassy girl, and spray the image. Obviously.
