Nice one Mr Hong Kong!

And who's that one the bottom of the board? A4K? AHK? Mr Hong Kong?

Just letting you all know that I've got a free day in London on the 21st, so I'll most likely be in Casino for quite a bit of that day.
I will make sure that I get to play MMP when I'm there, oh and maybe see the people who I missed last time :D

Are there any good (or reasonable) MMP replays out there for download? Couldn't see anything on super-play.co.uk.

Uncle CHI, Mr Hong Kong, Landlord and I were down playing Pork tonight. Turns out MHK has the Superplay DVD or the Superplay that comes with the soundtrack, giving him quite an advantage 8) . I'm eager to try out the things I saw him do tonight.

Thanks Uncle (?) CHI. :D

I've created a nico account, but need to install right to left languages, as I currently get entire pages of ????????????? ????? ????? ? ???????

I'll look into it tomorrow. I did just find a stage 1 clip on youtube, which makes the game look pretty intense :!:

Hey Captain! How are you. Does you investigation into superplays mean you'll be visiting Casino soon? Or did you actually by the board yourself (to install into you shed perhaps)?

Anyway, I'm going to head down Thursday or Friday. Who's around when?

Hey dude.

Alas, the Shooting-Shed TM never was realised. Instead, I bought a Metal Magnum arcade machine, and installed it in my brother's dining room. At home, I still have an el cheapo Vogatek supergun, but got rid of all my PCBs (except Great Mahou Daisakusen) when I was made redundant in Dec.

Now I'm a working girl again, I'm tempted to pick up another Cave board. MMP could be a candidate, but I'm hanging on to check out the quality of the imminent 5pb releases, and maybe opt for a 360 instead.

As for Casino, I'm hoping to keep a weekend clear for a mammoth session, but calendar's a bit choc for the next few weeks.

Cheers for the tips, Unc....I mean CHI. ;)

I'm not going to make it tonight.

By the way - how do people feel about me offering loan of my Viper Phase 1 PCB to go in the cab that just saw RFJ replaced by Strikers 1945 (just two cabs down from 1945+)?

smraedis said it's not too good for chasing scores, but it is really good fun. And nice and easy to get into...

I'd say it's a good thing, a different kind of shooter is always a welcome...
me or Papa DEL could speak to John the owner about this if you want?

meanwhile on MMP...
RIK (another local player) and MHK has been battling out on Harahara...
while my 16mil is long gone...

^Wow! The standard's shooting up.

I'm going to keep Viper Phase 1 at home for a couple of weeks (not that it will get installed any quiker than that!) and then I'm happy for it to go in for a few months, so yeah, do mention it to Jon.

So when is Papa DEL getting back on that MMP board then?

When I get time to play. I've logged two evenings only in the last 2 months. Mr Hong Kong plays it after work every night.
No excuses though. I must get back and practice.
Currently on a mediocre 15.74mil for Stage 1. :?

Went to Casino on Saturday, I kept on popping in there for most of the day, but only saw DEL and obviously MHK was there too.

Played MMP, really liked it, but am finding scoring to be a bit too hard at the moment, I need to play it lots more before I get anywhere on it.
Played Mushi too, but the stick was annoying me too much :(
Played Night Raid too, and got a new best score on it some how :D

Was a shame that I didn't get to see most people again, hopefully I will at the next meet.

I don't play Muchi every night. The rule is that I never play the same game two days in a row. I always need at least one day or two to reflect on what I've done right and what I've done wrong and come up with a new strategy.

I played Muchi last night (Monday night), which means I won't be there tonight. As I intend to come down to the casino on Saturday, I won't be there on Friday and Sunday.

I started playing Muchi on 20 December 2008 while, I guess, you started playing it at least a month before when you had the board at your home.

Your 116 million is the ninth highest score at the moment. The highest score at the moment is still 152 milliion, which is extremely beatable. I look forward to getting two more 116+ scores.

By the way, I'm not a Harahara player as I can't see the point of playing harahara mode when there is no separate hi-score table for this particular mode in Japanese magazines.

I might be in Wednesday actually Monks. I'm not sure for how long, but my mate has bought me tickets to a folk/electronica night (only in bloody London eh?), so if I have some time to kill I know where I'll be...

Anybody else interested in Viper Phase 1 - if not I really won't mind - it just means I get it to myself and don't have to pay to play!
