Simple thread. Post shmup related haikus, I'll get the ball rolling.

Haiku's are 5,7,5 for each line's syllable count. Or moraes, whatever.

7 the gravity was something
5 lost, shoot them all down.

anyways haiku in english suck because you can't fit as much meaning in as with the chinese characters, I think. morae > syllables also.

Depends if you think the word and original form of the haiku has any relevance. Moras count + contrasting elements. Also, haiku + haiku = 2 haiku.
