Haha, "The Xboxification Process". I like that. Sometimes simple controls are good, though. Just don't shovel every action into the A button, like Gears of War tried to do. Andoh. Well, this is what I get for reading the rest of the thread, I guess. The sad thing is that if you actually take away all of the retarded posts in there, there's a discussion. Too bad half of that forum is filled with retards, though. They haven't bothered to prune any of the shitposting that goes on in that forum.

Avoid.
Yeah I'm sure a touhou patch and a bunch of .rar files that don't automatically download mean the site is bad and you shouldn't visit it. Gigantic idiot.

Anyway, the icycalm review stealing thing is hilarious. Icycalm steals reviews (which is ridiculous and over the top) and EOJ issues a C&D on him (which is ridiculous and over the top). Do people still play games or do they just mangle them online instead?

Excellent post, Khan.

There are many other threads like this. I believe it will be right to lighten them up as well. Please do so.

icycalm is the craziest person I've ever seen. I kind of appreciate him for it, actually.

He's not just crazy. He's crossed the border to the realms of "literally insane" a long time ago. In fact, he has moved so far beyond that line it must look like a dot to him.

I bet at least half the hits his page gets are from shrinks who want to study this fascinating example of a well-developed superiority complex on a daily basis.

But what do I know? Icy's Jesus after all.

My God, yes. Did you read the forum rules section? The guy is fairly intelligent, just batshit insane. Entertainment of this quality is why I love videogame forums

I think everyone needs to stop, stand outside yourself and take a good hard look. Have yourself a cup of tea while your doing it while your at it as you should take more than a glance. We can all get wraped up in our own shit some people do it more than others. After all were all here for the joy of shmups. If you are banned becuase you cease to be a proactive member of this forum then maybe you are posting for the wrong reason.

We all have opinions, were all entitled to our own. no one person is more right over another its just difrences in taste and opinion. anyone feeling the need to hold a mirror to someones face serves only to make yourself feel more important or correct. so yeah what im trying to say is before anyone pushes that submit button you should

Check yo self fool! LULZ indeed

It is his forum if he wishes to enforce internet lobotomys on his members then I guess I wont be joining there. it is his right to do it.

i liked it when he went to an arcade one time and wrote a 5,000 word essay about it  that must've been a quiet rainy day

or how you shouldn't be allowed to review videogames unless you've read the tractus

or alluding to having 156 million dollars, and making a 1-2 million dollar donation to cave
[...] my tone is fine, you're just mentally deranged.

His arcade culture article was the best thing on his website, since I 100% agree with the article. It's pretty much my viewpoint of games.

I find it weird that he seems to be such a dickhead, since i find his reviews at insomniac pretty good reads.

To tell you the truth, I was sort of influenced by the Arcade Culture article so much that I tried to teach my brother's friends a little bit about it. I even tried to explain why arcades in the states are dying by comparing the two arcade cultures.

It also taught me never to credit feed ever again.

You dont LARPG do you? I will be doing some on the day. But it will be in my hotel room and its set in modern times. Only women are invited and Im role playing a filthy business man and there all my high class escorts. No dice necessary :p

your comment said it all. You dont have to be a nice person or polite if your reviews you write are well written. Apparently it is some kind of trade off that happens when one takes a stance and a journalist. A whole bunch of them are just dicks  FACT! spadgey is a good guy though. Ive no idea why he is not a dickhead?

He expects everyone to fall in line and agree with him, or they get banned and/or called too stupid to understand his genius (which is really mostly common sense).
