I was going to buy this stick anyway until i stumbled on to this one with the loli graphics. I had invisioned taking the plain version tricking out the buttons with a purple and then getting the base sprayed (purple and pinks are awesome) But I figured I dont really need to if I can get this one for around abouts the same price as a standard edition. Ive been checking playasia a lot for stick as im looking to upgrade from the DOA one i have now. I have no idea why ive missed this one until now as i was even online last night trying to find a stick for my friend who I managed to convert from pad to stick after giving him a quick lesson on it.
he has an early copy of SF4 and just as i called the taxi he was saying
*errrr you know you can leave your stick here if you want, I could look after it for you*
I was also going to purchase one of those until I found out that it's limited to 1 per Amazon.co.jp customer. The chances of it being exactly like the HRAP EX (fake JLF, Hori buttons) are high, since it looks identical to it. For the 360, I'll just order one of the SFIV pads. I've always found the HRAP's casing to be too big and forces me to lift my arms above my table just to use it. I'm not big on sticks personally, but I want one just in case I feel like switching from my Saturn pad.
I have this coming. I'm really looking forward to it as I've never owned a custom stick before.

Happen to have a file with the original art for that?

Image snipped to conserve bandwidth...keeps the mods happy. ^_~

Isn't that custom Death Smiles joystick based off of a standard DC arcade stick (or better known as the DC Agetech Stick in the USA)?
The art on the stick I made above is from the Death Smiles soundtrack bonus CD. It comes with some high res wallpapers, mouse cursors, screen saver and other desktop accessories.
I had seen these joysticks about a month ago or so. They look neat but those Hori overlays will start to come off after you give them a little love. My PS3 Soul Calibur 4 joystick has been all but shredded from standard street fighter useage.
Is it true the HRAP EX sticks come with fakie JLFs? I was under the impression that they were real JLF's just like its cousin the HRAP3. I know the Fighting Stick EX2 is an imposter, but the HRAP EX is news to me. If they are, thanks for saving me the purchase.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
Basically, these are the sticks available for the 360 at the moment:
- Street Fighter Tournament Edition ($150) All Sanwa parts
- Street Fighter Standard Edition ($90) Stock parts
- HRAP EX ($120-50) Fake JLF, Hori buttons
- Death Smiles HRAP EX ($240) (probably the same as above)
- HRAP EX SE ($?) All Seimitsu parts
And as a last resort:
- Street Fighter Fightpad
So unless you want to track down a TE, which is difficult to do at the moment, I'd wait awhile. The HRAP EX SE is only available for $230 on NCSX, and the Death Smiles HRAP is $240 there. Everywhere else either isn't taking orders just yet or hasn't given a price.

Why not just buy the standard Hori EX2 then lordy??
If your gonna mod it buy the cheap slightly crappy option & then make it as good as humanly possible without messing about with the already gorgeous looking DS version??
Would save yourself some cash in the long run as well that way
