A bit of a stretch, innit?

I have a copy in the same condition (even a bit better) and would gladly sell it for that price, too. Who wouldn't? :)

wouln't let go for for $200. Lots of memories.

My question is, when you buy these "graded" unopened games from 20 years ago, do you open them to prove the contents are legit and void the "unsealed" value...????!!!!
yup! Your not supposed to open then your supposed to just sit there looking at the box knowing someone just got paid a shit load of cash to "confirm" the game is legit.

which is why you should never buy one of them graded carts.

...so now Power Strike II is going for more than Radiant Silvergun?!?

the last two copies I saw (within the past 3 months) sold for under $80.
....glad I was the buyer on one of those!

Crazy! Boy am I glad I bought this before anyone else was looking for it.
I just had a look at my old emails: Power Strike II for MS cost me 14.81 EUR (shipped) in 2005.
At the same time, Power Strike 1 sold for 1-3 EUR...
Has the value actually gone up ten-fold in only 4 years?!

EDIT: Typo

So much for getting Power Strike II now…

I had seen this game for very low prices and now it is to shoot up like this? Maybe just a fluke, I'll just look again later on when it is forgotten…again.

I pay $60 for USA Power Strike back two years ago and Power Strike II had always been well below that Oh well I guess… I am no rush to get it as I still had not got it in the last two years. I am very happy with Power Strike one :D

Thats not even the best part.
Game may be valued edition (greatest hits, platinum hits, players choice).

umm, no. Power Strike II has been high ticket item for years (way before 2005).

185 sterling is certainly high, but then again, since the pound is at an all time low, not that surprising.

umm, no. Power Strike II doesn't come up very often, but of a dozen instances going back to '02-03 that I've seen it, it never sold above $100 US.

In fact, I remember two instances around '05 where I saw Australian copies sell for around $15-20 US.
I didn't purchase either at the time because I didn't realize they'd operate on a North American Master System.

As I mentioned previously, I saw two Portuguese versions (mint & complete) sell for under $80, the one I purchased totaled $65 after shipping.

I have a sealed one as well, but whats funny is playasia wrapped the arcadia strategy guide in another re-sealable wapper outside the wrapped ibara case. I have a feeling that one that sold on ebay was a re-wrap since it was inside the ps2 case wrapping.

(obviously) never opened mine so i never thought about it but now that you mention it youre right, it is a resealable plastic bag (still standard PS2 wrapping around the game tho)...

Well, this is the Master System we're talking about, $100 is a high ticket item. Apart from Autour du Monde, I can't think of any other PAL title that goes for that kind of money.

Ceph's 15 euros was a bargain in 2005. Devilman (from Consolemad) sold his one for £86 on eBay UK around that same time (or before, not sure). I remember this vividly, because he made known that he had bought it just before for 50p :)
