flOwer

A personal mind expansion tool rather than a game, but it is interactive, if not like Star Fox 64 all-range mode. Is this part of the new Zen genre? My favorite PS3 experience so far .

Bought it yesterday, unlocked the gold trophy today. The sharp handling and responsive motion controls are nice. I like seeing this sort of weird experimental stuff coming out on consoles.

Also, Jenova Chen emphasised somewhere (don't remember where) that it's flower, not fl0wer - no connection to fl0w, other than some minor references.

Reminded me of Rez.

<@scootnet> if you were a real gamer, you could jerk it to Super Metroid box art

I don't really care that these sort of things are being made, but if it's being marketed as a game, that's some false advertising right there .. :P

I think it would be cool to have an on-rails shooter using this control mechanic with added lock-on weapons and such. I know it's not flOwer, but the game kinda makes me feel the same way as flOw.
