Hmmm, why are gamers suspicious of girls on the net. It kind of implies that girlies aren't gamers
But if it makes you happy, I'll get him to make a guest appearance and confirm who I am.
I don't think we'll be breaking up anytime soon
I may need to speak to him about some more emoticons too. A thumbs up one would be good

Thanks for the welcomes guys.
I phoned Malc to come on and confirm who I am but he's a very sleepy man at the moment and is having 40 winks. However, I've chastised him severely and he'll be on later to confirm I am who I say I am.
And if he isn't, he's getting a talking to

girlfriend

Well, I prefer strategy and puzzles to be honest, but I like Phoenix. Malc's got an arcade cabinet set up with the Mame stuff in it, so I've played it on there. I have a fondness for Circus Charlie though

I'm sure he's wet himself laughing when he sees I've called it "the mame stuff"
erm yes its unfortunately true
unfortunately because she is better than me at most games
except of course shmups as women of course do not possess the hand-eye co-ordination for such manly activities.
Actually thats nto true i keep her away from them after being trounced at phoenix once and anyway she likes things like circus charlie and mr do, neither of which I can get on the hiscore table on now.
its just not fair. Imagine having boobs to play with and being good at games.
bloody mutant if you ask me, but in the nicest possible way
now she'll come on here and Post more times than I have ever managed to in between naps

So bad that you like him eh? That's goodmalcs_girlfriend wrote:Oh I LOOOOOOVE Peggle! Ruddy Malc downloaded it onto my lappy for me. It has robbed me of many hours of my life. I'm a bit of an ace shot at it. Bit spawny if you like.
He downloaded Murder Case Chronicles for me the other night too. There's many more hours gone *sigh*
He's a very bad man

Phoenix, oh the 80's memories. My great aunt's ex-husband placed video games around town and I got to play them for free when they were in for repairs. This may have been my first shmup.
I love the classical music. It was pretty smart to just use something from the public domain. And it fits so well somehow.
Why don't you write a review for it? (I mean, since you're so good at it

For malcs_girlfriend,
Say, have you tried out that cool arcade puzzler of Seibu Kaihatsu's Senkyu or better known as "Battle Balls" on Malc's Mame cabinet? It's another one of those cool arcade puzzle-type games from 1994 era...match three or more colored balls and they vanish type of gameplay. Sure, the CPU controlled opponents can get sneaky and dump a bunch of nuisance balls on your player side portion causing chaos and panic. Sometimes, a cool head and pure luck...or say a prayer to lady luck and she just might bestow her good fortune on you during a serious gaming session of Battle Balls. If you can set up some balls for multi-chaining combos, that can tip the game in your favor by dumping tons of nuisance balls on the other player/CPU character. ^_~
What's really fun, is watching two good Battle Balls/Senkyu players duke it out to see who's the best. ^_~

Oh there's plenty of gamer girls - but unfortunately there's plenty of nerds who pretend to be girls over the internet. It's an mmorpg rule, you'll see for yourself. Anyway, great to know you're the real deal, welcome!malcs_girlfriend wrote:Hmmm, why are gamers suspicious of girls on the net. It kind of implies that girlies aren't gamers

I don't know if I've played that, although it does sound familiar. The cabinet was out of commission for a while because the monitor went and Malc had to replace it. He had to modify the cab a bit and the glass cover so it was unusable for quite a while. I'll have a tinker about and see what I can find.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:For malcs_girlfriend,

Yeah, it's a bit weird to think that he started all this. Especially when a girl can beat his ass at gamesThunder Force wrote:Welcome to Shmups Forum!
