I'll not say that the iPod is a work of genius by a stretch (and iTunes is absolute crap) but I've never had any problems the first few years of owning one, and I drop mine, jog with them, sweat on them, and all kinds of shit. And the sad thing is, he's absolutely right.
Ya know...I wasn't looking forward to it, but I liked the demo. Two reasons: 1.) You can run over enemies with Warthogs. 2.) Alt-firing with Marines produces a satisying rain of grenades.
