Reinvesting back into the collection

Post by stoneroses »

I recently sold my complete SNES EarthBound for $481 USD on eBay and decided to pick up some Playstation STGs. I purchased a new non-preorder Ibara, a new Espgaluda, a used first run Mushisama, and Harmful Park. Was going to get the US version of Milestone Shooting Collection, and a Parodius for the Saturn.

I think you just caused my friend to sell his Earthbound as well. He said he saw an auction that went for ridiculous money. I think he got $411. He told me that he bought 4 of them from Best Buy when they closed them out for $5, sold 3 for store credit at Funco and kept the other one.

I forget what Earthbound is, but I'm sure that you did the right thing.

That's crazy money. There are several BINs for 250$, and auctions typically finish at 200$ or so... Good for you I guess :!:

I think my favorite so far is Ibara arrange mode (but it still kicks my @$$).

My buddy has a copy of Earthbound kicking around, but its used... Yours must've been sealed/new to fetch such a price right?

Earthbound was never sealed when it was in resale, so I guess Stoneroses (brilliant band btw!) just sold a really, really mint copy.

Fantastic game, but of course it's not worth that kind of money.
