Space Prince
You loose you're power-ups at the start of each level but don't worry, there's not much to them in the first place.Udderdude wrote:OOh, this is one of those freeware shmups with slidy mouse controls and underpowered weapons, isn't it :3
It's a casual game allright and wouldn't be that bad (for a casual game) if it wheren't for the sudden jump in difficulty. The presentation is good and to the point. The music is kinda Amiga-like and the graphics is competent. It's just that the game totally lacks any kind of dynamics. There's no real patterns to the enemies or the bullets and no build-up of tension and that's really the downfall of all these casual shmups. Of course, these games are meant to feel mellow but as we all know bullet patterns can be very relaxing too. These people should look to the likes of Guwange for a lesson in how to slowly build up scenes and create tension in a game that is slow moving.

I'll read the instructions play then get back for a review.
EDIT
This is one of those games where the publisher was probably concerned with making money than a quality game. The levels are just random enemie(s) thrown at the player for 3 minutes, no attention to survivability.

Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.

I read a few of the comments on the site and figured "why bother"
That's one large download for what appears to be a very poor game.
