Can you name some PCBS that support Stereo Output via SPDIF Plug?
Were there just konami boards that supported that function?

Some motherboard-based PCBs do output in stereo:
Sega Titan ST-V
Taito G-Net
Capcom CPS2
Capcom CPS3
Seibu Kaihatsu SP1
SNK Neo-Geo Multi Video System (MVS) -- the big board MV-1 version
Seta Aleck64 -- based off the N64 console but is Jamma standard output
The Seibu Kaihatsu SP1 mobo has seperate volume pot trims for both Left and Right speakers on the mobo itself which is a really nice bonus indeed. ^_~
There are a few more other motherboards out there with stereo sound output as well.
Even Konami's Japanese region PCB of A-Jax has stereo output (in addition to mono sound output as well) considering that it came out during late 1980's...1987 to be exact. Same thing can be said for the Lifeforce PCB as well. ^_~
You'd think that arcade shmup developer, Cave, would support stereo output sound with it's latest PCB releases but they don't. I wonder if the upcoming 2009 release of Death Smiles 2 PCB will support true stereo sound output this time around?
Or will DS-2 use the ol' SH-3 based PCB standby that powers up the original Death Smiles PCB (since that one only supports mono sound output anyways)?
