None of the PSP emulators available as of right now can play your requested arcade-only shmup game. Just stick with the ol' tried and true Mame/Mame32 emulation on the PC for now and you're good to go. Or play R-Type Leo with a laptop is another alternative to play it on-the-go. ^_~

I recall trying out the R-Type Leo PCB placed inside a Nintendo Play-Choice 10 cabinet setup at the 1998 California Extreme show...that was a very cool arcade-only shmup title. ^_~

I haven't tried either game on my PSP yet but do have both USA TTI versions of said games for the Turbo Duo console...awesome Super CD-Rom2 shmups in their own right. Is best to play both games on the original gaming hardware as it was meant to be. ^_~
