Ok, so i unloaded my PS3 and all games, Just bought RFA and am looking forward to getting a new 360-J. After the earlier news about RFA and the sweet deals DELL is running on systems, im on the fence. I could live without RFA but is Kestui and Deathsmiles worth blowing all that money for a Jap system when i could get a fat pro or elite system for around the same. What if the Cave ports suck. Need advice here, Paypal is burning a hole in my pocket.

you can play a percentage of your US games on the asian 360. Many US games are NOT region locked. However your favorite titles (rock band, burnout paradise) may not work. So if you actually want to play US game you may want to do some research first. I got my 360 years ago, and recently got a J 360 for the shmups.

I don't really have any JPN exclusives right now, but i have a ton of US games. Your mileage may vary.

The only reason i got the JPN 360 was for DDP and Death smiles, since a PCB is out of the question. You can more easily get your US 360 fixed in the states, but even if M$ declines fixing your J360 it can get serviced elsewhere for a cost.

Really depends how much you want a few JPN games, versus a slew of US games you may or may not like.

You can still buy Asian games, which work on Japanese consoles, usually don't cost more (or even less) than US versions. Apart from Rock Band (2), I think there's hardly any good game that didn't get an Asian release.

I got a US 360 quite early, later on a Japanese one. But for some time only the JPN one is installed.

Afaik it didn't yeah. Get the PS3 version then if you have a PS3.

fuck rock band and fuck EA, Guitar Hero FTW!

erm yeah i dont think some of the shmup jap releases will work on an asian 360 mind, so you would be hoping for an asian specific release of a title

Asia and Japan are the same region in terms of 360 games. If you buy an Asian system, it'll run 100% of all Japanese games.

yeah i got the korean version of a game cause it was cheaper than the JPN version by 20% and its fine.

Asia and Japan are both NTSC/J, either game will work fine on either console.
