Various Kenta Cho games.
I hate that I suck, and the only way to get better is to keep playing. And playing. And playing...

19XX (pcb) - I was set on selling this, but I had a really good go last night and now I think I'm gonna hold onto it a bit longer and play it more.

I like to come way past fashionably late to parties. On that note:

Happy to report that I got the 1cc in Gradius IV, and will be coming back to it eventually (hopefully sooner than later so I retain my skills) to advance into the 2nd loop, hopefully passing the Maoi stage and nabbing the 2nd spot on the board.
But, now that I got that out of the way, I've been playing some ESP Galuda on the PS2 with the HRAP. It's a fun game, but not really addicted to it yet.

The revolving door that is Chaos Field, Radirgy, and Karous (+Hori Fighting Stick).

Ha, same here. Well, Radirgy three times, then Karous once(yikes that game is tough), and now Chaos Field.

'Omega Five.' 'Mutant Storm Empire/Reloaded.' 3 excellent shmups that i only recently stumbled onto. i love 'Omega Five' bc its not a remake but it feels old-school but looks oh so new school. really quite amazing. i hope XBLA continues to add original and innovative shmups like these...

Castle Shikigami 3.
So many possible story combinations.
The Prologue for Roger and Mihee is priceless. Shame they don't play those by default.
See also: Emilio and Fumiko's.
Go away, Protagonist.

I gave Illvelo a try last night and don't know what to think...cool music and sort of easy....although I'm pretty clueless as to scoring and all those mini-stages you activate when you pass over those switch things lol.

I'm still playing Apeiron X. The game is so damn additive that I can't put it down. I never would have thought that a Centipede clone could be this much fun. The challenge, powerups, visuals, sound effects... everything about this game is great!
