Name this SHMUP?

I can't remember the name of a SHMUP I used to love playing when I was much younger.

The most distinctive feature of the game was that it had a secondary fire mode that was a roving cursor (that you controlled with the D-pad) and explosions would directly appear where the cursor was.

It was definitely a horizontal scroller with a very sci-fi greyish setting. I'm fairly sure that it was on the Sega Genesis.

Can anyone identify this game? I've gone through the reviews on this site and I can't locate it there.

Space Battle Ship Gomorrah aka Bio-Ship Paladin.

Yup, sounds like Uchuu Senkan Gomorrah/Bio-Ship Paladin by UPL.
Was ported one year later to the MegaDrive/Genesis.
