Seems most likely that it will just be Plus as it's a vertizontal displayed game anyway, ideal for a PSP. Unless a suitable TATE option is thrown in I doubt the rest of the series 1945, II, and 1999(III) would make it in. I'll see if I can get it translated properly. Either way, this is great news for PSP.

Playing Strikers 1945 Plus on the ol' PSP definitely taxes the CPU alrighty...framerate is a bit slow with many sprites and bullets shown on-screen. At the very least, the beginning FMV clip is running at full speed leading into the main title screen. MVS2PSP emulation from coder NJ is cool, nevertheless, on a PSP. ^_~

I can't translate Korean, but I can translate babelfish. That's probably the cleanest and easiest to read translation I've ever seen.
Wow. I'm not even sure this is going to be Strikers+ when all is said and done. How were those portable versions, does anyone here know?
"Wien D" company wants to bring Strikers 1945+ to PSP, obviously.Wien D soft (representative 107 present) domestic and global the arcade game `striker [cu] 1945 positive which has this sense ' leads and ㈜ place [cu] and the mote re-is born comes out in PSP versions and 4th revealed that to domestic and overseas market.
Somehow they contacted X-nauts and Psikyo to get a license and apparently also put out mobile forms of the original Strikers trilogy, at some earlier point. The Wien D soft this year March 28th Japanese ㈜ cross you [chu] * between contracts domestic and an overseas copyright contract of `striker [cu] 1945 positives which develops from the [khyo], ' from the mobile platform which already `1945 strikers ', `1945 striker 2 positives ', `strikers [cu] 1999 ' mobile game etc. total 3 Wien D dozes service is doing.
Talk about how the various versions all became popular. (1997? Didn't + come out in 1999?)`striker [cu] 1945 positives ' with misconduct shooting game of top, appeared in 1997 arcade market and is sensational, in mobile and PS2 versions they becomed popular currently striker [cu] 1945, the striker not only the [cu] 1945-2, striker [cu] 1945 positive and the striker [cu] 1999 etc. arcade they were come out.
I suppose they're remixing it a bit, or they're "fixing" it up to take advantage of and be more compliant to PSP capabilities.`Striker [cu] 1945 positives which are PSP versions which are come out in this time ' with one in 1945 series, the graphic which is gorgeous and realistic feeling the sound which overflows and effective etc. perfectly, optimized.
Apparently the guy responsible in this localization is pretty confident it will do well, considering the popularity of previous portable ports. The overseas enterprising general Kim Sir season director of Wien D soft “Wien D soft above having an old console game development know-how, the [cu] leads and cooperation with mote & crow height is made to magnify the platform and.”“The striker [cu] 1945 positive is having only PSP funs which are discriminated with the game which is familiar a next year good result in the already many people and expects.”As expressed a strong confidence.
Either it's being released on Christmas, or we'll get a release date on Christmas (probably the former). Also sounds like there will be a limited edition. Will commemorate the Christmas when meantime, approaches and is a plan which reservation will sell the package of `striker [cu] 1945 positive PSP games ' limited.
Wow. I'm not even sure this is going to be Strikers+ when all is said and done. How were those portable versions, does anyone here know?

Bumping it up because it's now been confirmed. Screenshots and info here:

And there it is! Seems on the pricey side for a PSP game to me, but hey: beggars can't be choosers and all that. *May* be time to import for me. Not sure yet.

Again, I'm thinking that the "beggars can't be choosers" idea comes into effect, here. Not that I disagree with you, necessarily, but it is what it is.Battlesmurf wrote:no offence to these guys- but totally not worth it it 1, 2, and 3 are not in the package.boagman wrote:Bumping it up because it's now been confirmed. I just got this from PA.com and I do have some minor gripes with it, atleast I hope they're only minor and don't turn major. Using digital control is terrible and causes me to die while dodging simple bullets. I should expect this from the PSP though. This game is very hard and it does not appear to let you change the difficulty. Also, it only gives you two lives per credit. Are all these things default according to the original Arcade version, etc?
Two lives per credit is default when running on a US MVS BIOS, for sure. I'm not sure if the same applies to JP since I changed my copy to three lives/credit as soon as I got it. And yeah, the difficulty ramps up a bit quicker than most other Psikyo games, although I'd say it's about on par with 1999. You can change the difficulty on the MVS version (just like every other MVS game), and although I haven't messed with it too much, I seem to recall that lower difficulty slows down the bullets a good deal.I just got this from PA.com and I do have some minor gripes with it, atleast I hope they're only minor and don't turn major. Honestly, this is one game I can't imagine playing on a portable screen. The bullet groupings get pretty dense in the later levels and they're all moving at Psikyo speeds. It's tough enough to see what's going on with a 30" screen, let alone a PSP.

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.

Yeah, as much as I'd like to support a Psikyo release and as much as I love my PSP, I doubt the fit is going to be right for me. Ketsui ds and Big Bang Mini are pretty much the only handheld shooters I play. Too often the screen size or controls just don't work out for me. I'm going to think about getting this, though.
