Commodore 1084S Monitor question

Post by ptoing »

OK, so I got one of those monitors lying around, which I use for my C64 atm. It has 4plug cinch (stereo sound, luma, chroma) and a 9-pin RGB D-SUB. My Supergun has an RGB-Scart out.

Does anyone know if there is a simple way to connect this up? Are there readymade converters or would I have to get down and dirty and solder my own?

For ptoing,

You'd need to make a custom RGB cable that terminates into an DB-9 interface for your Commodore 1084S monitor. Only five signals from your Supergun setup are needed: Red, Green, Blue, H/V Sync and Ground. Easy as pie to make one. All Amiga monitors accept true 15.7kHz low resolution signal and still retain that authentic scanline look & overall presentation for your favorite arcade PCBs. The monitors in question, do have a hard time with the DDP-DOJ/Ketsui/ESPgaluda PCBs because of Cave's decision to have high RGB signal output from the get-go. ^_~
