Kaede made a Special Guest Star appearance last night, with a Progear 1CC (screen fixed).
Mr Hong Kong came in to trouble the Pork Rankings again.
Uncle CHI was loitering with intent.
Inti & Cristina were playing Blazbleu.
KOLA dropped by.
News at eleven.

Didn't get to the second loop this time, though, so meh.

Ah yeah, I didn't make it yesterday.
Most likely tonight though. I must stave off the advances of Mr Hong Kong.
Friday will be packed.

Had a few credits on MMP in Casino today, well my first ever credits on the game really. Gotta give kudos to the stick, it felt very nice and responsive. It's nice to see the effort you guys put into making sure the control is just right. As for the game, it definitely has got a new convert. I was never really that impressed with it from looking at videos but finally getting around to playing has changed my mind. BlazBlue was another pleasant surprise and was even getting some serious attention at 12.30pm there today.

All in all it's heartening to see the flames of arcade fire still burning. Keep it up over there you London fellas :D

John has just put the BlazBlue machine on 60 seconds and 65% health. Hilarious, it’s like he doesn’t want people to turn up.

Progear was on £1 for 1 credit as well, though spadgy got that fixed

Such a shame, as I really felt like John was investing a lot of time and effort in Casino, with the arrival of BlazBlue, and a few machines getting fixed up a little.

To be fair to John, Progear on £1 per credit was just some fault, and he apologised, and promptly reset the pricing and even treated me to a free credit.

But what's he playing at with BlazBlue, he finally gets the arcade busy again, and people queuing for a cab, and he ups the price?

Sad to hear about Blazblue.. I guess it'll make more money with those settings.. for a while.
If progear was kept on £1 for 1 play, that would make the game even more annoying ;)

Hmm, where is that event going to be held? Also they seem to have a good game list, mmm Bakraid :D

Apparently the BlazBlue machine is dead now. You're probably better off watching the neoempire thread for information on it.

Event looks really interesting, I'll definately try to get down there. In addition to millions of freeplay games on proper cabinets there's also mention of a cabinet group order, which will be good as I've been meaning to get a cabinet to replace my broken TV and speaker combo (and killercabs is dead!).

Shmup tournament sounds interesting, but it looks like they’ll pick some Raizing stuff given the line-up. If they just picked Progear, Deathsmiles and Mushi though... ;)

Oh it isn't really far away, I think I'll be going to this then.. it already sounds very good!

Yeah, it would be nice to finally play some Raizing outside of my place ;)

Brilliant night down Casino last night with CHI.

CHI, straight after you left I got 37mil on RFJ! Then I hit between 32 and 35 mil several times in a row without any shit credits between. It suddenly clicked - maxing out floating medal just at the end of level one and learning the way you showed me to make 'gold bars' raise in value.

And then, just before I finished my last credit I had money for, for the first time I suffered at the hands of Casino's brutal shut down policy - suddenly, all the cabs, lights and everything were turned off at once - before I got to take a picture!

I'd made a mental note of my score, which I promptly copied down - 37,215,370 - 10mil up on my previous best, but having transcribed it from my sketchy memory I don't feel I can add it to the hi-score table here. Gutted to loose a score that way! Bloody place!

And CHI - I never got that text mate.

Nice one spadgy! It always feels so good when things go right in RFJ, but something always goes wrong for me, I need to play it more :D
I can update your score to the table with something like 37,200,000 if you want.

Also I'd like to share a room with someone for the expo, though I know its still quite a while away.

I might be up for sharing a room smraedis. Unless I can drag a mate along, I'll be up for that I reckon.

And no worries on entering the score. I'll get a proper one thats 37.2mil+ ASAP!

Met with John and Craig and a guy I forgot the name of already at Casino today. To tired to play much though, and the RFJ cab was off, which probably means screwed. They have SFIV at The Troc or cheap and nasty cabs, so BlazBlue was almost unused...

And RupertH, you got feed back for the Hori EX2 I collected. Thanks for that mate.
