Shmups with mirrored stages?

Post by J-Manic »

Hey guys. :)

I'm interested to know if there are any shmups out there that have the option of playing mirrored versions of each stage. Whether they're unlockable or available from the start, please list any that come to mind. Thanks.

It would be really cool, and a good challenge, if most (or all) shmups had the option to do so. Do you guys agree?

Under Defeat's second loop features mirrored levels (as well as seasonal environmental changes).

Hanatakadaka for PC-Engine (HuCard) has a a secret in every level, I think a few flip the stage upside down. That's all I can think of.

 No. That there is just rewinded in slow motion. I hope you were joking around.

Thanks for mentioning Under Defeat, Kiken. I own it, so I can go check it out for myself. Should be a good challenge.

Wish I still had a PC-Engine.

Anything else?
