The same sprite is used for the cloud and grass. Only the color is different.
Actually, I did! Not right away, but I did eventually. :p

There are 3 CAVE games that have been licensed and released in the US at this point. You can't really count one of them, though.

A popular nickname for Fidel Castro is "Esteban".

It is a contraction of "este bandido" ("this bandit").

If you throw toilet paper in the toilet before taking a shit, the toilet water won't splash on your ass and balls.

You'll clog the toilet if you do that.

I've been doing it for years. My toilet never clogs unless I take a big dump. If you're too afraid of clogging your toilet, you can always reserve the trick for use in public restrooms.

Edit: of course, I have no idea how good the plumbing is in Brazil.
Edit2: just don't get carried away with the toilet paper. I say enough to wrap your hand twice is enough.

At least around here, toilet paper in the toilet is never a good thing. Even if it doesn't clog the first time, it will eventually if you keep doing it. Just remember that if any of you guys ever comes to my country.

ATI Rage Mobility M is secretly the same thing as Rage Pro, which is convenient if you need 3d functionality for old games since AMD still has Rage Pro drivers on their site (and they seem to be quicker and less buggy than any of the Rage Mobility drivers floating around)

It was once planned that a giant 50 foot tall Michael Jackson robot would stalk around the desert outside of Las Vegas, shooting lasers out of its head, and just kinda doing it's own thing.

I'm not kidding. The project is probably canned now, haven't heard anything about it in awhile.

lightning is not the only thing on earth that can exceed the temperature of the sun. A pistol shrimp can shoot a blast of water at a speed of 100km/h with a temp of 9900C! That shit is bananas!

Web CEO makes some kind of HTML authoring software, or something. They want my business. They haven't gotten it, but they did send me some interesting infos:

Googler: "… if a site is made in a way that users run away right away, then chances are that we might not be recommending it as much as other sites that users like." – We can conclude that the information Google receives through its toolbar is used in the ranking algorithm.

Googler: "I think it is fair for Google to use that [age of a site and the amount of time a domain is registered] as a signal in some circumstances." – The age of domains and sites are ranking factors.

Googler: "Google uses a bunch of signals like location of the server or the TLD in order to determine which users might be interested in the sites content. "– This means the location of the server does influence the local page rankings.

Googler: "If you're moving from one URL to another (even if it's on a different domain), ranking signals can be passed via a 301 [redirect]." – Google will pass your old domain ranking information to the new domain if you make a proper redirect – 301. However, you should not use a 302 redirect.

Googler: "We work hard to make sure a site can't have a negative effect on another site." – So, a bunch of links from "bad neighborhoods cannot cause a drop in site rankings."

Googler: "We generally treat all links the same – be it from .gov or .edu or .info sites."

Googler: "PageRank is re-computed all the time (different PageRanks every day). But we update the toolbar PageRank 3-4 times/year." – The toolbar PageRank is often misleading and does not show a true picture.

If you accept names of chemical compounds as words, the longest word in english is the largest known protein. Its name is... well, click here to read. It's 189,819 letters long. Of course, it's not very practical to memorize or say aloud, so it's commonly known as "titin".

Completely made up words? Nigel Tomm created a 2,087,214 letter-long word, and used it in his "The Blah Story" - the longest novel ever published.
