Raiden Fighters Compilation heading to the Xbox 360

Hi all first post

Been a long time lurker of here but I finally got my JPN 360 couple of weeks ago and finally sat down to RFaces tonight.

Quick question basically how do you select the secret ships (is it th the slave one is one)? Got to 20th using the MKII ship (about 141 in world I think it was) on RF1 so to say never played it before Im quite happy with myself.

Great game cant believe I finally have the RF series after all these years (long time vert shmup fan fav is Battle Garrega on saturn/arcade). Also bought Gorgeous which is ok Id say solid 7/10 and Raiden IV which I got into alot since opening it (which I didnt think I would as I detest 3 on PS2).

Looking forward to Ketsui and DDPDJ (which I bought day 0 on PS2).

To choose the Slaves, highlight any ship and press Shot and Bomb simultaneously. To Select the Dark Sword in RF2, highlight the random select "?" and press Down-Right and Shot simultaneously.

There are two big tanks there. Destroy the one on the right first before the one on the left.

Here's hoping the replays remain intact. I'm just about to order my J-360 for DOJ, and I was gonna get RFA as well. Now I just know I'll end up with both the Japanese and US versions, just like my three versions of Ikaruga (DC, GC, XBLA). :O

Probably not. In the game I'm working on we wanted to do global leaderboards, but it's hard with the way MS has it all set up. Our online programmer said it's not impossible, but we ran out of time for this project to get it going. Given that this is a budget port I have to doubt it.

James over on TNL actually called up Valcon and they confirmed that they are, indeed, the US publisher of the game. The current release date though is just an Amazon estimate.

So the release is most definitely official, but the release date is still indefinite.

I think the game just bullshit me. I was playing RFJ, had everything set to Normal and finally managed to SCC the PHASE 3 path. Final Score after beating the boss was 98.8 million. The credits roll, and then the final bonus for "Perfect Play" is added to my score, bringing it up to 108 million... but no fucking Achievement Unlocked! So I guess the final all-clear bonus does not count toward the achievement?

I'll probably try this again over the weekend... as I broke my medal chain about half-way through the final level (and missed the first Miclus)... so I'm sure had I not.. I most likely would have broken the 100 million mark while still in actual play.

You have to get 100m during the game. You can't get the achievement in RF2 either without Fairy.

i hit 49million 280,000 and cried , played with fairy for 3 straight days before not achieving the 50 mill achievement

I can't break 30,000,000 damnit. I can always get like 28 million by the third stage, and then just lose everything, haha.

In the third stage, the forest one, where the hell is that damn miclus? I know its supposed to be above that hole thing in the woods, but I sit above it forever and no damn Miclus.

I normally sell off my japan versions when I get the USA versions, but I'll be keeping my japanese Raiden Fighters Aces as it does have the DVD.

Also,
does anyone know if the USA RFA will have USA versions of the Raiden Fighters games? (two loops, short miclus timers)
