If you are getting a difference in score that big then you are doing something very wrong and it's not the game's fault. Galuda 2's scoring system is very complicated but bosses are extremely simple. More bullets canceled = more points.sven666 wrote: ive done it a hundred times with the exact same base (nailing the first 2 stages with some concistency is pretty easy) and it is just luck what score you get out of it.
game is great otherwise but im sorry the score system really sucks in my opinion.
As an example of what might effect your score, you have to keep in mind...
- When you enter Zeshikai. When you are in this mode, many bullet patterns double in quantity, so it's important to enter early enough to get the right patterns to double up.
- When you kill the boss. This is really important not just for canceling the bullets on screen, but for a period of time after you kill the boss form it will continue to spit out bullets that are canceled instantly.
- Running out of gold. Pretty obvious, but this drops you back down to 100x which really hurts your score.
Boss 2's second form has some weirdness too, in that it can move too far back so some of the bullet waves won't fire. You can deal with this by just waiting for it to cycle back around again, which shouldn't be a big deal. Tateha & Asagi have to cycle it anyway. :X
