DDP DF getting an OST release

Post by kozo »

Excuse my excitement. I'm not particularly HUGE into Cave soundtracks, but I respect them. However, this one's really got me going now.

Finally! The main boss theme and stage 5 music have made me excited for this for quite a while.

Also, the stage clear track is pretty sweet.

Agreed, first TLB theme is the best track of the game for me (and the only original one, imo).

The 2nd TLB music is motherfucking awesome, like Rotterdam Nation on speed with the kick-drum spamming revved up a bit.

I love that intro on Stage 1's BGM.

Overall, this has to be one of Manabu Namiki's best. This beats DOJ's soundtrack except for DOJ stage 5 (which is really a tough one to top).
Kinect? KIN NOT.

Yes, same here. I don't really care too much for the other tracks but the 2 TLB's soundtracks are worth a purchase.

PA has a listing for it now, and it says "January 09"

I might look into this...

Game certainly does have a nice soundtrack, ended up turning the volume up higher than I do with most of my PCBs.

Bought it at the Cave Matsuri. A very nice soundtrack in a great packaging.
A pleasure to watch and listen to!

I have uploaded a zip file containing high resolution pictures of the plastic leaflets. Mainly notes from the composer but perhaps someone who is fluent in Japanese could read them better than me and extract some juicy informations... :)

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?kzmo3jn4dym

Also on the spin are written these sentences:
涙と鼻水の覚悟はよろしいか?
- 正に恐悦至極
- それ無くね?
But I believe this is the introduction question to the Ura loop...

(By the way I have one spare OST I will put for sale this week-end I think...)

Also bought 2 Voice collection CDs. I will open one to see what I can find in there... :)

Unfortunately, nothing is said about which song goes to which artist in the leaflets... :(

[EDIT] Opened a Voice Collection. Absolutely nothing worth of mentioning in there, sadly...

Took a look. Didn't notice any secret clues about their next game.

Lucky you, you got to go to the matsuri. I was out of the country :(
