RQ: Final Soldier Stage 1 boss milking

On the first boss of Final Soldier, it looks like I can take advantage of the endless destroyable projectiles he shoots out. What weapon should I try this with?

Any weapon with a narrow attack range should work. That way you can destroy the projectiles without hurting the boss.
