The sequel to exceptional co-op cube blaster Exception has just been released.
This one seems to be more multiplayer-oriented, there's Horde mode, Deathmatch and Team Fortress. However, classic campaign is missing (maybe, I have no idea if the demo I downloaded here has all modes).
At this moment servers are completely empty, let's fix that
More on the2bears.
EDIT: Now there are 2 active servers, but i have massive lag on both.

I've been desperately trying to play this thing with people but only japanese with 300+ ping show up...
This is like shoesama's epitome of PVP LOL but actually funny, unlike Change Air Blade, which was... tragic. Wait, it was awesome to be the boss and own your friend nonstop with unavoidable and edible danmaku.
There is no demo. Exception Conflict IS free. I've been following i-saint's updates on his blog along with the comments of his friends (icewind, creator of Diadra Empty and 7-iro, dunno the real nick, creator of Manablast and the Minosinker 4komas based on Hellsinker and every other doujin shooter that isn't Touhou). It's multiplayer only as well, although you can make a server and play on your own.
Hoping to see moar people there, jeez, someone from America at least... Brazil, USA, Canada, anyone, please.

mmm, this could work awesome on a LAN... but I'm starting to wonder if it poor netcode might have something to do here. It's Japan after all, used to unreal transfer speeds and short distances.
Then we start thinking we are here in huge 'Amerika', with obscene distances separating most people...
Warning, there is another observer (without the capital O) stealing mah name. I'll go as (SA)A.P.B.
Is there a way to check the ping of the server before entering LagLand? I've been trying to figure this out. I'm spotting a japanese one but I know it'll be... evil.
Could it be this delay thing? I have it set to auto but I'll try to manually place a number. I recall Immaterial and Missing Power worked pretty well in netplay. At least with people of the same continent.

It looks like the delay is the number of frames that server sends at once. However, 20 seems to be highest possible number. So yeah, looks like Japanese can't even imagine someone having more than 20ms
And no, you can't ping servers before you join.

I recall the old days when we would have 150+ ping even on local servers...
At least I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one with the gigantastic lag.
At 10 delay things already start to become unplayable. Over 15 it's unplayable. Maybe we could try running the game at 30fps and turning off all the effects? Though I'm not sure how much impact it'll have. We can always poke i-saint and try to use the power of engrish or get someone with enough japanese knowledge to point out the issues.
The game already got three updates since the public release at the beginning of the week so we are not late into the party.

Wow, the stutter or pauze effect bugs the hell out of me! whatever it is the game is doing, the stutter or pauzing should be removed, blech!
Like one of those variable framerate pc games I'm getting motion/sea sick.
