I've been drinking since xmas, I live alone and there really wasn't anything to do but play games and browse the web. I prolly coulda put a throttle on it though...

So i get dressed to go to work this morning. I've got a mild hangover from that last few days. The jazz station i turn on in the morning for the dogs to listen to while i'm at work is playing jazzy gospel. This is outta place but I don't think anything of it.

As i leave the apartment complex I notice everyone's car is still there, and there is no traffic on the road, I look at my cellphone and its still Sunday.

gah I drank too much this weekend but at least i get a day to rehydrate myself.

I don't like the taste of alcohol either

You get used to it for effect, otherwise people would just drink kool-aid. if you drink enough you will likely have a preferred poison.

I like Bacardi with anything, it hides well in anything but still is strong enough for you to feel it. However since I'm alone a lot these days I stay away from the hard drinks since it's way to easy to go overboard. I just chain drink beers now.

and after this 12pack from last night is done I'm quitting, for like as long as possible. if i can get through this weekend it would be great

The trick is just to find something that you like despite the fact.

I'm buzzed on some nice Italian red wine and tasty Cointreau filled chocolates. I'm about to watch Star Trek. Yes, I am a geek. I might game later....some Little Big Planet. I don't think I could shmup while drunk though....I'd think that's a marketable talent!

Man, tonight I was downtown for my friend's birthday and I was parking my car then I was walking to the bar we were supposed to meet at and all these cops and ambulances pulled up and started roping off the area right in front of the bar and I was like dude I'm trying to get into that bar what happened and apparently someone shot a bunch fo people in front of the place and then killed himself. No joke. Finally after like an hour he and some other ppl who were already there got out and we got drunk at a bar down the street.

I'm having some Glenfiddich 12 year scotch (~$30) and it is pretty awesome---very smooth and tastes great. Obviously there are more expensive varieties out there; and generally price DOES EQUAL quality. What scotch do you drink? What scotch do you think is the best?

At this moment as I am writing this, this is probably the best $30 scotch I have had.
