I ate some great Chinese take out, which is what we do at my house every year! I got an Evite from someone in a church group I've been to about a party tonight-but it's a semi-formal dance, and I declined. Semi-formal is for interviews and jobs that require it, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm gonna surf the net tonight and then play some Jr. Pac-Man on my 7800!

I'm not much for the New Years. I always end up sitting around alone drinking. Not unlike what I'm doing now. Then I end up getting depressed about the last year. Fun stuff.

That being said, what's everyone's drink of choice? Right now I'm drinking a Wyder's Pear Cider. Mmm. Pear Cider.

I'm up for that. My new year consisted of me talking to some tech support guy for over 2 hours to fix something on my computer, and then watching my brother play Halo until 5 minutes before the ball dropped. What a way to ring it in.

But, I guess you have to experience it first hand a couple of times before you can fully appreciate the joy of celebrating new years eve all alone playing shmups
