Can it be done?
Rules are simple.
1) select a type B+C ship. any ship ok. YOu'll need it. (if you have trouble getting B+C to work, then simply let the selection time out)
2) go out of your way to increase rank.
3) don't die.
TO maximize rank, fire when not needed, collect as many powerups as possible, collect uneeded powerups, use special formations, etc.

Nice. yeah i'd accept a mame replay at 1% speed in this case. i wat to know if it's even possible. besides i'm sure there's already a regular thread. if not it can be started easily enough. i just want soeone with more skillz than me to prove that the game is a legitimate shmup (possible to one life clear) i now wthout dying rank will max out eventually, and makign it happen earlier just helps you get better.
anyway sorry for putting int in the wrong place. I just on't have the skillz to even hope to try (madball mk ii seems really cheap to me)
SOmetime i will start a high score thread... when i can get up to nuff again. i used tobe able to one credit clear thunder force IV, (had to to keep the ending form glitching on my test copy!) and now I can't imagine how i ever did it. (heh)
