So what are your favorite tv shows? Here are mine.
Action sci fi: Terminator, seperate thread exists already.
US comedy: Psych
Started in 2006. Shawn is kind of like a early Jim Carrey (pet detective 1), but he doesn't bite Jim Carrey too much. Funny stuff. I like how Lassiter is being ridiculed and also how he always introduces Gus.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0491738/
Give it a try and let me know what you think. It might not be for everybody. But if you like Ace Ventura 1 I think you should be able to appreciate this. Shawn reminds me of a frined from when I was younger, always got plans to do this and that and always dragging me all over the place.
UK comedy: Shooting stars
I just saw on bbc some of the highlights of shooting stars. I was laughing so hard. And apparantly it's back for another season. Still good as ever. Even though I don't get every joke, I still get most of them and laugh my behind off.

Mad Men
I love all Star Trek, even though they're mostly cheesy and bad
Uh, Daily Show and Colbert Report are good, for ones off the air Mr. Show, Arrested Development, dunno there's a ton more I watch just drawing a blank. Most TV is so bad that the mediocre becomes the excellent. I like it all really, turns off the brain and allows me to practice guitar for long periods. Dexter's an OK show, kind of reminds me of Fight Club
edit - 30 rock and the office are good

South Park
Family Guy
Daily Show
Colbert Report
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Home Movies
Robot Chicken
Venture Bros.
The Ultimate Fighter
That's pretty much everything I watch regularly. I try to watch the Terminator show when I remember, it's surprisingly good.
Awesome shows that are no longer on the air:
Star Trek (everything before Enterprise was good, although I didn't get into DS9. Yes, I even liked Voyager)
Battlestar Galactica (from the 1970s only! The new one is pretty awful!)
Firefly
Get Smart (one of my favorite shows ever)

"I think Ikaruga is pretty tough. It is like a modern version of Galaga that some Japanese company made."
to be honest nothing has really lept out at me in the past few months. Heroes S03 failed to keep my attention and nothing else really seems that great at the moment. every time i fo real real enjoy something they cancel it .

I don't watch much TV. Not because I'm trying to be cool by shunning it with flippant "TV SUX SO I DONT OWN 1 AEHAEH!!" bullshit, but because I just haven't found much I like to watch regularly. At the moment, it's pretty much Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, and the occasional stand up comedy on Comedy Central. I used to watch The Universe and Avatar: The Last Airbender, but the latter ended, and the former seems to come and go from the schedule line up.
OH! And I watch The Three Stooges when someone decides to air them.

I don't watch anything on network TV these days, and hardly anything on cable. Mostly I watch whatever stuff on Discovery my Tivo picks up (Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, How it's Made,) and History Channel (Modern Marvels,) and I'll occasionally end up watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! as well if I happen to be bored enough.
The Office (US) - (I've also watched the UK, but prefer the US since it's more of an ensamble piece than a Ricky Gervaise vehicle)
Life - Really great
Bones - great cast.
Fringe - I guess it's the magic touch of JJ Abrams. Tense. Funny.
Lost - Either you love it or you hate it I guess. Just two more seasons to go. No more flash-back/forward in next season apparently. Exciting.
My fave shows (no longer running):
Twin Peaks
Alias
Six Feet Under
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Angel
The Inside

If more 2D people would go to the 2D Gaming Forum, there would be more people to talk about 2D games with other 2D fans on the tootie gaming forum. It's 2Dlicious. For real yall

I only watch sports
More specifically, NBA.
I enjoy watching 80s cartoons with my children or any cartoon that I grew up with… Loony Tunes and Disney can date from the early part of the 20th century and many cartoons that I watched during the 1980s came out throughout the century. I usually just watch them on youtube via the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo Wii + youtube = many hours lost in classic television

Good list. Never saw SFU or The Inside, never got into Lost, and haven't seen more than one episode of Twin Peaks, but Buffy & Alias are my 2 favorite shows of all time, followed closely by Angel. Bones is great, and Fringe I'm starting to get into. Didn't care for Life, though...something about that detective is....off. But not in a way that's entertaining to me, I guess.emphatic wrote:The Office (US) - (I've also watched the UK, but prefer the US since it's more of an ensamble piece than a Ricky Gervaise vehicle)

Oh, and I'm one of those annoying American Idol nuts that has to watch every week as people audition & are eliminated. Not sure what the draw is, other than being a vocalist myself (I love critiquing the singers like a judge), and I often agree w/ Simon Cowell on his criticisms.
