Save up some money for the HRAP2 (a PS2-Stick) and buy the corresponding adapters to hook it up to your PC, Cube, Wii, Xbox, NEOGEO, Dreamcast, microwave, pen and paper RPG, mother, toilet, crackpipe, sextoys etc ;)

* EDIT *

Holy shit that thing looks cool. Is that what pros use? I've seen people use sticks like that at Marvel vs Capcom 2 tournaments.

NO NO NO NO NO. The only stick you'll be playing with with a disabled left hand is the one in your crotch. As we all know, arcade sticks have the stick on the LEFT. :wink:

I'm sure you all remember the one-hand RPG control pads, I think they were from Ascii. Time to switch your favorite genre, Phil ;)

Haha. I'm sure a lot of rpgs could already be played with one hand, but I guess this pad must do wonders for the crippled.

Mine is so huge that I find it usually goes numb if it got snagged on something or had a misadventure on the way home. I just have to walk back along the length of it and I'll usually find out a satellite hit it or it got stuck inside some hot chick. Just the last week, I found it getting high on opium with some delta force guys it single handedly saved from Al Queda in Afghanistan!

update: still coughing blood guys, could use some help over here.

This one handed controller always looked neat too, though I'm not dishing up the money to try it.

I guess you could use that with 1 hand, if you played games that didn't require any skill or precise timing

You can easily play shmups with just one working hand...provided it's your left hand, which wasn't the case here. But anyway. Take, say, a PS2 controller, map the shot and bomb buttons to L1 and L2 and you're good to go.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Did you watch the video on that page?

Hes playing the PC version of Halo 2 with it. Hes a professional one-armed gamer. :P I'm sure it has a fairly steep learning curve, but he was doing just as well as any decent console FPS player.

I think because they are primary action buttons in most games, so the controller places them on the back, like shoulder buttons or N64 z-trigger style, that way you can keep a thumb on the d-pad and still fire pretty rapidly.

that's actually a pretty cool controller. I could tell me cousins I can beat them at videogames with a hand tied to my back without actually doing any tying.

And if you could somehow connect the console servers to the PC servers in any cross-platform FPS game, the best console players would die by the hands of only mediocre PC players. They would flop around like dead fish with their little toy controllers, not the correct way to play a FPS

:D

Magnetism? Is that some kind of faggoty console term for auto-aim?
