U.S. Census Bureau is hiring census takers!....

There are a lot of people out of work, myself included, so I thought I'd post this. You can call 1-866-861-2010 to get in a test session for the job. www.census.gov/2010censusjobs has info, including a practice test.

I'm about ready to leave for the test, which is 90 minutes long, so wish me luck!

Hope the test goes well!

I worked with interviewing people concerning their opions about the swedish police a few years back. It's actualy quite intrestning work (when you get to meet people face to face and not over the phone that is)

Now that sounds like a more interesting job! Thanks wishing me well- I got a score of 18 out of 28, which is average. The test proctor, who recruits for the US Census, said that it will be 2-3 weeks before I find out.

Of course, I'll look into other jobs in the meantime, but who knows-I could get this one!

Ah, I got the impression that's what Census Bureau are doing? Interviewing people, gathering statistics and stuff? That's what the swedish equivalent (which I worked for) are doing at least.
