Great catch.

My 5x7 wacom graphis is prolly the best investment i've ever mad. its not only lasted longer than any computer peripheral (5+ years), I couldn't live without it!

I got two days off for x-mas. I bought my dogs a few new toys. One of which was a clearance FG Stewie Xmas plush. I might keep that for myself and take it to work.

I got:

Catan Seafarers expansion
A big-ass bench digital DC power supply to go with the big-ass bench soldering station I got for my birthday
A big-ass breadboard
A really nice fountain pen
A winter jacket

Pretty good haul this year.

And for myself I have ordered a Runcore 32GB SSD for my eeePC, and a Core2Duo U7700 for my Vaio UX, but I need to pay a guy another $275 for the installation service...

A couple of Blu-rays, Bangai-O Spirits, West Jet vouchers, some random $ that will make up for superplays/OSTs I've been pre-emptively buying recently (many in the mail, can't wait to get them).

Seems some of you get lots of stuff for Christmas... :!:

@jonny5: nice looking display! No wonder what the vouchers are for... =)

So yeah, everyone seemed to like what I gave. Yay!

I sincerely hope to high heaven that you got a gift receipt for that. I paid $5 for it, *brand new*, and it was just, just cursed-of-God bad.

*Whatever* they paid, you'd be better off getting the cash, or a gift card, or a sharp stick in the eye. Really.

Ah, you know... It's the thought that counts, man. Plus, it isn't like I paid any monies for it. Your non-endorsement makes me intrigued to play it, if only to see how bad some games can get. Cheers!

Heh, that's true, so true...and maybe this'll be one of those gifts that will live in infamy forever and you'll bring it up EVERY SINGLE YEAR hence. I'm telling you: it's "Yikes!" bad.

Enjoy!

I did really well this year. I guess the folks were feeling really sorry for me because i'm out of work.

Homura, PS2.
Both Patlabor super pimp collectors edition DVD sets (massive bargain, possibly a pricing error by amazon).
The first 5 volumes of the Nausicaa manga (would have been all 7 if amazon hadn't claimed volume 6 was a pre-order when its been out for years).
Time Travelling Blue + Frequencies from Planet Ten dual CD set by Orange Goblin.
A bottle of CKone, I think my brother is trying to tell me I smell.
An envelope full of cash and some tiny bottles of Glenlivet from my Grandmother

All unboxed and posed for the photograph. I may try to work on the Dreamcast today, but with my old dinky little iron. I may not put the big station into regular service until I properly clean my desk.
