Awesome, thanks Zakk! In that bottom right hand corner, can you tell me what the value of the resistors for R17 and R29 are? As well as capacitor C4 right above them.
Seems some hack job was done on my sound section, where these two resistors and capacitor have been cut out of my board, leaving the sound to either 0% or 100% with no gradation via the potentiometer (which is fine) in between.

Are you 100% sure those were 4.7 ohm? What are the colour bands / did you verify with a meter?
Yes I have one here where they've been clipped off. The large cap (mine still has this) will be the cause of volume problems, the resistor clipping removes filtering from speaker +/-.
