Page 23, dude. NCSX are pretty slow on the uptake there.

Perhaps, if you were only talking about 1st-gen PSPs and never bothered to do one of those ufighterx mods. What's next, you're going to complain about the Square button?
That's a great comfort, I'm sure, to the millions of people who own a 1st gen PSP.

You mean this? http://www.ufighterx.com/guides/videoga ... padfix.htm

I don't think voiding your warantee and having to do all this crap to get a decent d-pad is anywhere near reasonable.
Uhh...if you have a first gen PSP I don't think you have to worry about the warranty.

Also, an easier method is to use exactly four layers of scotch tape cut into squares under each direction pad. I've modded four PSPs and all have held up quite well.

Just checked the 5pb guy's blog who's porting it and...he spent the whole break trying to break 70,000 gamer points.

I would like to be an optimist and say that the game is probably mostly done, but realize there has effectively been zero promotion for this. It doesn't even have a page on Japanese XBOX live. Recently, you could watch Ikeda-san and other CAVE developers on the shooting festa report, and yet the games they're talking about don't even have promotion pages...just sad.

A lot of games don't have a page on Xbox Live JP.

Many don't even have their Xbox.com page up until very close to the release date.

Yeah

Isn't not doing your job the entire concept of a "break"?

Except that breaking 70,000 gamer points sounds more like a job than a break.

It looks like they added some new information to the DDP DOJ BL EX site. All of the sections have content in them now, from what I can tell. http://5pb.jp/games/div2/ddpdojblex/

Media's still not up, though you can access it via URL manipulation. It has four section: Screenshots, Artwork, Movies, and Goods. Wonder what goods includes?

Can someone who knows Japanese tell us what the System page says about New/Old/X versions of Arcade Mode? The assumptions I'm pulling out of my ass is that New=Black Label version DOJ, Old=White Label version DOJ, and X is an Arrange mode.

Most interesting:

EDIT: Cero B. lol

Haha, achievements for chaining through to stage 5 and beating Hibachi's second and final form. Well, there's something I'll never get.

Does it need to be a continuous chain? It gives values in the description, so it might be that you just need to get an X chain on stage whatever. Unless that a minimum chain requirement you need in addition to never dropping it?

EDIT: Also, is there anything that indicates that the Hibachi achievements need to be done without continuing? With 1-loop mode, you could credit feed through and possibly still get them.

Of course, if it were that easy it probably wouldn't be worth 120 GP.

I don't think that would work, and you can't access the second and third forms of Hibachi in the first loop.

The list seems to cover getting all the bees in each stage, along with each ending, each clear with each character, and with each boss destroyed. I'm not sure what the secret ones would be, but judging from previous games, they're probably just time unlocks.

In Black Label you get to chose whether to play a one or two round game right after you chose your ship/doll. If you chose one round, you fight everything at the end.

There was a doubleplay video posted a few days back that showed this.

Sounds a bit like "Saturn Mode" of the "original" DDP, where it only lasted one loop and Hibachi was at the end no matter how bad you did, heh heh.

Not Japanese. Their idea of Xmas is so fucked up. They have New Year's though.

If this is to be a proper port, it will ask you when you start the game if it's to be 1 loop or 2.

You know, I could always shoot Sakari a message over Live asking him about it (he accepted my friend request), if someone is willing to help me phrase the question properly.

The guy is a total achievement whore. His Live bio message says something like "Unlocking achievements is my favourite dish."... and he has both Avatar and the new TMNT game 1000'd.

That's what the New/Old modes imply, at least with my know-nothing analysis of Japanese. (though I'd expect it to be via a main menu instead of at startup)

Hmm...

ブラックレーベル版では基盤みたいに1面開幕で1週、2週選択可能でしょうか?

That outta work.

There's probably a stage practice mode where these achievements are easier to get. Provided that you can increase lives etc. I predict taking up to 800 points pretty easily.

OUCH. That shit's cheesecake central. I'd personally be embarrassed to have that game on my record.

And 71,000-Gamerscore-san responds...

Hello.
Yes, 1st Loop END and 2nd Loop END are selectable.
Be warned.
Regretfully, Daioujou EX is region locked.
It will only operate in a Japanese 360 console.
Very regretfully, it was not in my power to make it region free.
Someone might want to check my translation, but I'm pretty sure I got it, more or less. GaijinPunch, thank you very much for translating the question.

translation: good
news: bad (for most).

Interesting though that the region lock was not within his power to change. Isn't he the shacho of 5pb? Wonder if Microsoft-J swings their dicks around for such releases.
