Hi there,
I'm looking for this artwork of Battle Garegga in high resolution:
I guess it was somehow included with the Gamest Video vol.27 of Garegga, maybe on the back or on the VHS itself? I'd appreciate any help in finding this awesome artwork in the resolution it deserves.

It's really hard to find anything about this VHS on the net, to find a packshot is impossible.
You couldn't scan it in high-res, could you? I'd deeply appreciate that

Brilliant, when scanning please turn off all image corrections and store the
image as a TIFF file. if you have any scanning questions feel free to PM me

I'm sorry, do you still happen to have that scan of Garegga you mentioned in the forums, back in December when someone asked about the Gamest cover? Any help would be appreciated.

For drboom,
Yep, your Gamest Video Vol. 27 Battle Garegga VHS tape has been coverted to DVD-R format. It looks great when viewed on a CRT-based TV monitor using component video or even Japanese Scart RGB. If you view it on a HDTV monitor using an HDMI cable setup with an PS3, the stereo sound effects and BGM tunes will be upgraded to 48kHz -- sounding super sweet to the ears. ^_~
There were a couple of spots that had picture dropout due the VHS tape recording -- that is to be expected due the age and how many times it has been played on an VCR. Of course, each time it is played back, it degrades a bit further. So common sense says that it's best to get those precious Japanese shmup superplay tapes converted to DVD-R format ASAP. ^_~
how come this thread didn't get locked? not that I think it should ect?
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
I probably should have, but forgot this thread was out there before it was bumped. I'll leave it open til tomorrow - by then, hopefully anything relevant from here will have been moved to this thread, in the interest of keeping all shmup artwork queries in one spot, if possible. Any questions, PM me.
