I'm having a barbecue, taking in some laps on the track around the lake, and of course, keeping my eyes out for the chicks....all in honor of our soldiers of course.

I posted this topic and write this reply with a heavy heart. One of the church who I knew served in WW2 died. He was a good guy, He always mowed the church backlot for no cost. Even though, he was like 80.
I never got to ask him what unit he was in or what battle he was involved in. I guess soldiers never actually want to talk about it until someone asks them about. Even then, they don't talk about it. Sometimes, They have too.
The real warriors of this generations and other generations can teach us about how to treat one another and one day when there's actual peace in the world, maybe, just maybe, Their souls can finally smile down upon us.

Spent the day trying to watch Smallville season 2 with my wife and playing with our cat. Smallville season 2 is better than Roswell season 2, but still worse than watching grass grow. That show has some of the worst dialogue I've been subjected to in a tv series and none of the characters are worth a shit except for Lionel Luther and Lex. Everything else just pisses on my memory of Superman (both from the cheesy 1970s exploites I loved to read so much when I was young and the "more mature" Superman from the 90s). These writers need to be shot.

My cat rocks, though.

Going see Crash with my parents, play IIDX and work on some shmups.
I may study for finals a bit, too, as they start on Tuesday.

As seems to be the case with most such holidays, yardwork. And I think I hurt my back (as in difficult to walk right now) yesterday too, which apparently isn't a valid excuse for getting out of it.

On this Memorial Day, I'm graduating High School! Should be fun - or not. With ~700 people in my class and my last name being "Wright", I'll be sitting around for quite some time...

I watched a bunch of documentaries on the Discovery Channel, including a very captivating one on the Battle of Midway.

Also watched(on and off) the Coca-Cola 600.

When we still lived in Ohio, we'd go to the Air Force Museum, now called the National Air and Space Museum or some shit. Now, we'll probably end up at Wal-Mart or something :?

Nothing much....played some Midnight Club 3, knocked back a couple Bacardis, and went to Cici's Pizza and pigged out. I also played a pretty boring shmup called Pilot Kids while I was over there.

I have the day off tommorrow as well, so I don't know what I'll do then.

R.I.P for the our soliders who died protecting our freedom.

I went barbecuing with friends. Good fun. Now, my whole body aches from playing volleyball non-stop.
